The Celestron 8" Dovetail Bar is built specifically for the Celestron C8 Optical Tube, but also works with the Celestron CGEM and Celestron CGE Pro Mounts.
This 8" Dovetail Bar by Celestron is made to be attached directly to the Celestron C8 OTA with bolts. It then allows the OTA to be moved along its optical-axis direction, while mounting it, to achieve a proper balance around the Declination axis of the mount.
Please note: this product will not work with CPC 800 GPS or CPC Deluxe 800 HD telescopes without completely removing the finder scope bracket.
