Triple APOD - August 18, 2025: The Seagull Nebula (IC 2177) By Ray Wiens

Spanning seven full moon widths across the sky (240 light years), the Seagull nebula is located on the same arm of the Milky Way as our own solar system. It can be found nestled between the constellations Canis Major and Monoceros.
