De nombreux filtres astronomiques sont parfaitement adaptés à une utilisation avec un objectif d'appareil photo reflex numérique. Nous vous expliquons ici comment procéder.
Nos plus grands filtres montés sur cellule mesurent 2" de diamètre mécanique (avec un filetage métrique de M48). L'ouverture claire est de 46 mm.
Afin de faciliter l'adaptation de nos filtres 2" sur la plupart des objectifs d'appareil photo, nous produisons un adaptateur général, pour convertir la norme ASTRO-2" (M48) en une norme photo plus courante de SP54 mm. Cette bague est nommée :Porte-filtre DSLR 2" M48/SP54 (article n° 2408166).
Des adaptateurs d'objectif individuels pour la plupart des filetages d'objectif d'appareil photo sont disponibles pour s'adapter à ce porte-filtre. Des filetages d'objectif plus grands peuvent être utilisés en ajoutant une autre bague pas à pas de 62 mm.

L'animation à droite montre comment cela fonctionne : l'adaptateur de filetage d'objectif (dans ce cas M62 ou M55 ou M49) se fixe sur l'objectif de l'appareil photo, vient ensuite le porte-filtre M48 (# 2408166) et enfin n'importe quel filtre Baader de 2" (M48) se visse sur l'assemblage.
