I’ve already had this rough in my tumbler for a week and I’m loving what I see so far. The chunks were nice and large (but not too large!) and they should tumble into beautiful shiny specimens.
I quickly tumbled these as soon as I got them. They have not disappointed. The patterns and colours on their surface is pure artistry.
Just received my tumbling rough... super fast delivery and I'm really happy with the order! The photos seem pretty accurate... the carnelian I ordered is smaller with likely 30 or so pieces in the one pound bag, the rose quartz is likely 20 or so pieces, and the banded amethyst is closer to 10 pieces.
But as with any large bulk batches it will likely vary in size, so the next time might be different... just like with rockhounding thats part of the fun of it all... that you never quite know what you'll get!
I was excited to see these types of tumbling rough options available in Canada, as I've usually have to look south for similar. Not sure if people can phone the store to order, and let the staff know the tumbler size to help alleviate some of the other reviewers concerns (I would have loved the ocean jasper mentioned below by T.K.S, but it was out of stock)... either way I definitely plan to order again. Thanks!!

Spent $43 and received rocks that i cannot do anything with, they are too small to even cut. Spoke to Rick and he told me to buy more and i may get something in that batch. No thanks, I am done. I learned a very good lesson. Diane C
Thanks for the feedback! We are sorry that the rocks did not suit your use case. The rocks we sell come from large bulk batches and can vary in size. We advertise these rocks as tumbling rough for this reason and not as rocks for cutting or cabbing.
I was initially happy with the fast delivery but I had purchased what I thought was ocean jasper size .50-.75” 30-40 pieces per pound as described. I received 2 bags with 6 huge chunks that I will somehow have to break to fit in my tumbler. So far no luck breaking.
I was pleased with the Mexican crazy lace agates, they are a good size and look like they will be beautiful
