Nova Wheels feature resin-bonded diamond abrasive embedded in a tough, flexible plastic resin, backed by an extra-soft, extra-thick sponge rubber cushion. This unique construction allows the wheel to gently conform to the shape of your stone, dramatically reducing flat spots, deep scratches, and unwanted facets while giving you excellent control during cabbing.
Diamond Pacific has doubled the diamond content, delivering longer wheel life, consistent cutting action, and outstanding value. There's no break-in period—these wheels are ready to perform straight out of the box.
Recommended Grit Progression
For best results, Nova Wheels are designed to be used as a system rather than mixed with other wheel types. A popular all-purpose sequence includes:
- 280 grit
- 600 grit
- 1,200 grit
- 3,000 grit
- Finish with a 14,000 Nova disc
This progression produces an excellent polish on most materials. Extra hard or difficult stones may benefit from additional grit steps.
