This little smart telescope is powerful. I am impressed with the quality of data it can collect. In EQ mode with 30 second subs and the LP filter I am able to capture nebula from a bortle 8-9 site in the city. The sony IMX585 sensor performs well with built in flats and darks. It is super easy to setup and a great addition to my collection imaging rigs. Perfect for nights when you have low energy and don't feel like fumbling around in the dark. I was skeptical about smart telescopes but this thing is really cool.

What it lacks in aperture it more than makes up for in being the complete package. It is so nice for those times when I don't want to setup my full rig.
I’m quite new to astronomy and have been learning the night sky as best as I can with star charts & binoculars but decided that a smart telescope would be a great addition. So I bought the Seestar S30 Pro and I’m amazed at the ease of use, the quality of the imaging and the convenience of plan mode.
The images I’m getting from my light polluted location are simply amazing and the ease of setup and use is incredible. I’ve successfully used plan mode several times to image distant constellations and nebula over night. It’s a great thrill to download and explore the saved images in the morning.
I’m getting great results even in my light polluted city, I can’t wait to take it out to some dark locations in the near future!
Surprising what this little telescope and find and capture even in a light polluted urban backyard. Software makes it easy to search around and choose targets. Very impressed with the image quality.
