Description du produit

The Seestar TH10 is a compact hydraulic tripod head, standing just 84mm tall and weighing only 411g. Its base diameter measures 50mm. Crafted from CNC-machined aluminum alloy, it combines a premium feel with enhanced durability, all while remaining impressively lightweight. It's a perfect match for the Seestar smart telescope, especially in equatorial mode.

Thanks to its ergonomic hydraulic damping system, the TH10 makes polar alignment surprisingly smooth. A gentle touch is all it takes to fine-tune the pan and tilt, making it ideal even for beginners.

The head supports full 360° panning and a tilt range of -90° to 90°, with moderate damping for fluid motion and solid control. When paired with the Seestar telescope, you can quickly calibrate angles using the built-in scale and switch to equatorial mode with a single tap in the app. Intuitive locking knobs keep everything secure, making multi-angle shooting effortless.

On top, the TH10 features a standard 1/4" screw, compatible with most SLRs, mirrorless and video cameras. It also includes an adapter for 3/8" screws, making it fully compatible with the Seestar series.

The base has a 3/8" screw hole, ensuring it fits most tripods, monopods, and desktop mounts. With a load capacity of up to 5kg, it's more than capable of supporting your gear with confidence.

Tripod Setup Instructions

  1. Unfold and Position the Tripod
    • Fully extend the TC20 tripod legs to your desired height and securely lock them in place. Set the tripod on a flat, stable surface. In the Northern Hemisphere, aim one of the tripod legs roughly toward North.
    • Use the built-in spirit level to level the tripod—adjust the legs until the bubble is centered within the circular indicator.
  2. Install the TH10 Tripod Head
    • Insert the 1/4" to 3/8" threaded screw adapter into the Seestar.
    • Use a coin wrench to firmly tighten the adapter.
  3. Attach the Quick Release Plate
    • Secure the quick release plate to the Seestar. Ensure a snug fit.
    • Tighten the plate screws to maintain accurate polar alignment.
  4. Mount the TH10 to the Tripod
    • Tighten the horizontal adjustment knob at the bottom of the TH10.
    • Attach the TH10 head to the tripod.
    • Loosen the knob to rotate the head so that the dovetail groove points North, aligned with the north-facing tripod leg.
    • Re-tighten the knob to lock the position.
  5. Install the Seestar S50
    • Slide the Seestar into the dovetail groove of the TH10.
    • Tighten the knob to secure the device.
    • Confirm everything is locked in place, and your setup is now complete.
