Great addition to my gear

I love this leveler. It makes it so easy and quick to level my SeeStar S50. I will also start using it for my regular photography.

Tele Vue 5.0x 1.25" Powermate (PMT-5126)

I wish I had this planisphere in 1984.

This 16” diameter planisphere is a wonderful device. Probably most observers are like me: after 40 years, still not totally familiar with the constellations. This puppy is almost like a star atlas — lots of stars shown, quite a few deep-sky objects are plotted, bright stars are named — AND — I never have to turn a page. Plus no amount of dew or squashed mosquitoes will ever degrade it. 100% plastic!

Seriously, if you want to learn the constellations better, find your way by star-hopping with binocs or a modest scope…. this bad boy will be your saviour. There’s also a lot of handy “under the stars” text on the back. Not cheap. Yet a tremendous value.

Almost perfect

This scope makes star & DSO gazing very easy. It generates high quality images with very little effort. Overall, I think the software is well designed; however, I can suggest a few improvements. It would be very useful for the coordinates of the current telescope aim to be listed on the app. Similarly, it would be nice to have the scope slew to coordinates that you input into the app. Showing the coordinates would allow comparison with an expected location. I would also like to create a custom list of coordinates

Very Impressive!

I have had my S50 for a few weeks now, and have used it mainly for capturing lunar and solar shots, including the October 2024 superman. I have been very impressed at how well it tracks, and I have been able to take some great images with it! Looking forward to doing some deep sky photography next. I do wish the resolution was a tad bit higher, but it's pretty decent considering the price of this telescope.

My first astrograph

Wow, I had a "kids" telescope as my first telescope. The powerseeker 127eq which I found out after buying thar it wasn't what I was looking for. I wanted something I could image what I was seeing thru the telescope so I could share that beauty with others. The 127eq was not that scope so after doing my homework, this time, I settled on iOptron's 6" F4 imaging newtonian, ieaf compatible telescope and first light was so different. It's an inch bigger than the 127eq and the mirrors are fast, clear and easy to collimate. It's a relatively light, small newton at about 13lbs with the rings, dovetail and finder scope and just 22" long, a 600mm focal length for a focal ratio of F4. You will want to get a good coma corrector especially if you're planning on imaging. If you want to take beautiful pictures of DSOs, the moon and planets or just want a way better visual experience, I highly recommend iOptron 6-inch F4 imaging newtonian ieaf compatible! Clear skies!

Parts for my rock tumbler

It was so great to find someone to help us get the parts for my tumbler! They were are extremely helpful and very friendly

Fascinating color-mixing cube!

I love the CMY cube! We bought one as a gift for a friend, then recently bought two more for grandchildren. It comes with a protective storage bag, but the stand must be purchased separately. Excellent quality, and the All-Star price is the best I have seen.

Seestar accessories.

Works great with the seestar 50.
Thanx.

Extremely Sturdy Vixen Dovetail

The quality of the Aluminium machining is superb. The bottom “core” of the plate is milled out to decrease weight, but it has a thick support beam across the centre to keep strength. Lots of mounting slots, where as some other dovetails only have a central slot that runs the length of the dovetail. This one has slots that are perpendicular to the main central slot.

If I had to order another dovetail. I would order a longer version of this one.

50EDPH reducer

A must-have for imaging with included 2-inch filter thread. Works like a charm!

M54 filter drawer

Purchased to accommodate installation on ZWO ASI2600MC Air camera

Sharpstar 50EDPH

An amazing tiny telescope fit for travelling!

Great book

I got it for the whole family and it proved very useful right away looking at some of out old collections of rocks and while looking for new ones to add :) can't recomend enough

SeeStarS50

This little smart telescope is amazing. It’s easy to use, takes relatively good photos and does not frustrate a user, for a hobby that can be difficult to learn.

Little plates for a little scope

These fit well on my Borg 5536.

More fun than a barrel of monkeys!

This little telescope is just plain fun. Small, portable ready to grab and go. Let's say while walking the dog you notice the moon looks particularly nice or Jupiter is nicely above the neighborhood trees. You get the dog in, grab the scope, set it up on the patio table, picnic table or even the trampoline. Voila - you can now fit in a quick fun view of the moon or Jupiter. Yes a finder scope would be helpful, but there is a kit to add one. Yes it could use better eyepieces, but that is easy to solve. What it really needs is a little case to hold it - I am still looking for something big enough but not too big. It's not a pro scope but it does not pretend to be. It's not a department store you scope either. It's a fun, budget priced scope that is easy to grab and go. It's got me hooked on table top Dobs too!

Askar FRA400 good as expected

Heavier than expected, quality is there on every aspect of the telescope.
Only a few things could be improved like the focuser is hard to turn, first time I tried I checked if I did unlock it, I was skeptical - could I install the Q-Focuser I bought for it. So far so good
Also the dew shield is not long enough, (guess it is true for similar telescope) first night I lost 2 hours of M31, since I added a dew strap and made a longer dew shield. The image quality meets my expectations. I don't think I will ever buy the focal reducer, the FOV is good as is. And the reducer is expensive.

Enjoying Seestar S50

First try at this. Having good success and happy with the results. I like how compact it is and is quick to set up, which means it will get used on a regular basis.

Ceramic media

Works great, good quality, a little larger in size then I was expecting. Best prices I've found!

Sky-Watcher EQ6-R Pier Extension

Unit was well packed with all parts included. Assembly was easy and the tripod is very stable with the extension installed . No more twisting and lying down to do a polar alignment! Viewing images near the zenith also will not require knelling.

Rock Tumbler

The rock tumbler is perfect. I ordered the double tumbler and as soon as I received it, filled it with the agates I recently found. I have found this tumbler has added some positive features over the previous. All Star Telescope was good at communicating the status of the back order will definitely order from them again?

Probably would not buy this again.

I did check the product out in person, and now that it is tumbling I would have to say that I would not buy anything in chunks this big again unless I were to somehow end up with a larger tumbler. However, it is really great to have a local shop that carries rock for tumbling. So many "lapidary" stores seem to have gone away from carrying rock suitable for tumbling.

Great product!

Great camera it’s two in one! Great for planetary and also great for deep sky imaging, I would recommend this camera if your looking for something versatile!
