Product Description
This is a no nonsense grit kit for polishing all kinds of rocks. The first three stages are different grades of silicon carbide, and the polish is aluminun oxide.
There are four levels of grit included in the kit (or available individually):
- Step 1 - Coarse (700g)
- Step 2 - Medium (350g)
- Step 3 - Fine (350g)
- Step 4 - Polish (350g)
We include larger bottles of coarse grit because we find that most rocks benefit from two cycles on Step 1. There's enough here to polish 30-40lbs or tumbling rough.
Here's our favorite recipe for most rocks:
