Product Description
The 1.25"W-25X is the modified Plossl eyepiece used on all Antares non-illuminated finderscopes. Focal length is 24.8mm; Eye relief is 11mm. This eyepiece has helical focusing to image the reticle. It can be easily removed, but can only be safely cleaned with low pressure air.

The Antares 25mm Plossl eyepiece is the gateway to many uses.
Having both crosshairs in the main telescope and finder scope fosters a very accurate alignment between the two optical instruments. No more guessing what is the centre of a field of view when looking through a regular eyepiece when doing a finder scope alignment. The focus mechanism works great keeping the crosshairs in focus.
When I pair the Antares 25mm Plossl eyepiece with my Evoguide 50ED on my panoramic gimbal mount offers hours of incredible views of many wide deep sky objects. This combination of equipment provides a similar field of view that I get when I look through my 7x50 binoculars with benefit of stabilization.
This is one really handy eyepiece that is often put to work.

Seem to produce a pretty good image at 7.6x. Can make out 2 galilean sattelites very easily. Like the helical focuser on it. Nice FOV, but want to lab test on guide scope F3.8, and 8" dob f5.9. Crosshair is very apparent.
