The Legend 2 Metal Detector - More Powerful, Lighter, & Easier to Use
Nokta's The Legend 2 metal detector is a new generation of multi-frequency detectors, designed for maximum versatility, reliability and efficiency during a search. The device is designed to work both on land and underwater, with an IP68 rating and can be submerged to a depth of 5 meters. The technology is based on SMF/VLF with the possibility of a single-frequency mode and a frequency range from 4 to 40 kHz. For the user's convenience, several ready-made search programs are provided - Field, Park, Beach, Gold, as well as a new Relics mode, suitable for detecting complex artifacts, particularly pewter bronze. An "All Metals" mode is also available for maximum coverage.
Key updates include a new, larger, high-contrast monochrome display for excellent visibility even in bright sunlight. The control interface has also been redesigned with a new panel of "film" buttons, while maintaining the logic of the main controls. The VDI range has now been expanded to 1-99, which allows for more accurate target recognition, improved debris filtering, and more information for fine-tuning. A key innovation is support for wireless firmware updates, allowing the user to download new software versions even in the field.
The Legend 2 battery has an increased capacity and provides longer operating time without recharging, and charging is possible via USB and using power banks, including waterproof models. The standard configuration uses the LD28 coil - a round 11-inch DD. At the same time, the weight of the metal detector is reduced, weighing only 1200 grams, which makes work more comfortable even during long searches.
