The adapter fits "like a glove" onto my NP-101is's clamshell. Very easy to install and well-made. I can now use the scope on one of my Vixen-type GEMs, as well as my Tele Vue Gibraltar HD4 without having to swap out any plates. I like it so much that I may purchase a second one for my TV-85/Ash Panoramic Mount.
