These Accessories work with the SeeStar S50. New designs for the S30 are in the works but these will not work with that S30.

Transform your SeeStar Smart Telescope into a powerful tool with AST Core SeeStar Accessories. Protect your glass with a SeeStar lens cap, achieve perfect focus with the bahtinov mask, and experiment with narrow band filtering using the 2" threaded filter holder.

All of these items were designed with care in house to work and fit perfectly in your SeeStar S50 Smart Telescope. Each item was carefully engineered to ensure a proper fit as well as a great user experience.

The Bahtinov mask was specially designed for the optics of the SeeStar. Using the power of math and engineering we tailored this mask with maximum bahtinoviness.

The dew shield and solar finder make for the perfect solar viewing partner in the day and a great dew protector at night. The dew shield fits all of the other accessories and can be used during the day with the solar filter to help located and center the sun in your view.

Pro-Tips

  • Solar finding on the SeeStar can be vastly improved by ensuring you perform the levelling process and compass calibration!
  • It is possible to fit all of these accessories (and/or theĀ AST Core Tripod Leveler), inside the original SeeStar Carrying Case! Just carefully fit the Dew Sheild around a Tripod leg, and the rest in the accessory cutout!

New to hobby - loving my Seestar S50

For forty years I have wanted to own a telescope for deep space objects and further build on my knowledge and understanding of the celestial sphere. This smart scope is the perfect all in one telescope is the right choice for me to share the experience with family around me and nurture my knowledge while creating a next generation of astronomers. The abilities of the Seestar S50 have far exceeded my expectations, and even though I have a very busy life I still find moments to quickly set this scope up to snap a couple of shots. Thanks to Richard at Allstar Telescope for the guidance and I will most certainly be taking this to the next level in the future- again with Allstar tutelage.

Worth it for the Dew Shield Alone

Bought the accessories for the lens dust cap and dew shield. The dew shield turned out to be a versatile piece of kit! Not only helps prevent dew settling on the lens is very useful in blocking unwanted security lighting from neighboring properties. If the mask and filter holder preform even half as well I will be even more pleased then I already am!
