Triple APOD - October 9, 2024: Ghost of Cassiopeia by Jon Tupper

As we enter spooky season, a couple of targets in the night sky become particularly seasonable, one of them being an emissive reflection nebula around the bright star Navi in the constellation of Cassiopeia, named the Ghost of Cassiopeia for its ghastly bedsheet-ghost like appearance. Jon's processing pushes this likeness further, with the simulated SHO colour palette making the rendition even more Halloween-like.
