The Lunt 8 x 32 White Light SUNoculars. With this pocket sized instrument you can use to view and safely study Eclipses, Planetary Transists, and Sun Spot activity/magnetic storms.

Compact, Lunt SUNoculars have front mounted fully dense white light glass filters making Solar observation 100% safe.

These front filters are manufactured from CE certified film to ensure the highest level of viewing quality.

The light of the Sun is reduced to a comfortable 1×10-5 transmission and all ultra-violet and infrared components are completely and safely blocked. The Sun will appear as a pleasant orange colour.

Easy to use and focus on the sun. Sunspots are visible and the binoculars are not heavy, they are comfortable to hold.

Lunt sunoculars 8x32

good pair of binoculars excellent for quickly seeing the state of the sun. on the other hand we only see the large spots of the sun and not the small ones.

Lunt 8x32 Solar Binoculars

The Lunt 8x32 solar binoculars were not powerful enough for my eyes if I was going to be able to sketch the sunspots. All-Star Telescope personnel were very helpful. A light, but powerful scope was suggested for my perusal.

Solar binoculars and eclipse glasses

The Lund solar glasses and Celestron eclipse glasses arrived a bit earlier that predicted and were well packaged so were not damaged in transit. The Lund glasses are way better than anticipated given how reasonably priced they are.
