Sky-Watcher has replaced their EQ3 SynScan mount with the Sky-Watcher EQM-35 Mount. While the video uses the EQ3 SynScan mount, almost everything will apply to the new EQM-35 mount.
The video shows the complete set-up of an SkyWatcher EQ3 mount along with an 80mm apochromatic refractor equiped with the Orion Magnificent Mini autoguider and a DSLR. The subjects covered include setting up and leveling the mount, adjusting the mount for latitude, polar alignment using the mount's polar scope and balancing the equipment. Using a Canon 60Da, the complete set-up was used the same night to capture six - five minute exposures of M27, the Dumbell Nebula, which is also shown in the video.
