Seestar S50 Rev

I believe that is an excellent product and I will enjoy using it when my schedule and the weather co-operates.

Excellent Value

I was delighted with the quality of the optics and the ease of use. While it won’t replace an 8” cat for deep space objects, it captures easy-to-see galaxies, nebula, and clusters with no fuss. I don’t even miss the eye piece. I’m too old to stand out in freezing temperatures trying to catch a glimpse of a ‘faint fuzzy.’ Once again, great value!

Almost perfect

This scope makes star & DSO gazing very easy. It generates high quality images with very little effort. Overall, I think the software is well designed; however, I can suggest a few improvements. It would be very useful for the coordinates of the current telescope aim to be listed on the app. Similarly, it would be nice to have the scope slew to coordinates that you input into the app. Showing the coordinates would allow comparison with an expected location. I would also like to create a custom list of coordinates

Very Impressive!

I have had my S50 for a few weeks now, and have used it mainly for capturing lunar and solar shots, including the October 2024 superman. I have been very impressed at how well it tracks, and I have been able to take some great images with it! Looking forward to doing some deep sky photography next. I do wish the resolution was a tad bit higher, but it's pretty decent considering the price of this telescope.
